2008: The next Total Solar Eclipse The next total eclipse will occur on Aug. 1, 2008. It will begin in the Canadian Arctic archipelago, cross Greenland into Siberia, Mongolia and China. (Eclipse travel is usually exciting; not often convenient). Weather prospects along the path aren't great. But here are a few links to whet your appetite:
